Sennelier began in Paris in 1887 near the École des Beaux-Arts, the world epicentre for arts, and is located on the Left Bank, also known as sur la Rive Gauche. Given the artistic history of the area, it seemed a natural choice for naming Sennelier fine oils.

Drying twice as fast as classic oils and characterised by low-level yellowing - 50% less than linseed oil – these paints are known for their versatility but also their high-quality. With Rive Gauche, Sennelier has placed the colours of Paris into tubes for artists all over the world to experience the pleasure of creating with them. Available in 60 colours in 40ml tubes – 56 colours in 200ml tubes.
