Join wildlife expert Vic Bearcroft and learn how to create striking puppy and kitten portraits in pastel with this easy-to-follow DVD guide. Vic will take you through the five creative steps required - from sketching out to tonal layers, through to blocking out, details and finally finishing with highlights. Vic advises which part of the pastel to use to create texture and interest, as well as emphasising the need to keep working the pastel into the velour paper to achieve a soft, furlike effect.

All of the techniques Vic uses can be applied to any animal portrait, so you will see your skills improve the more you use them across variousprojects and paintings.
